The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission’s Natural Resources and Lands Management Division hosts programs in the regional watersheds. You can find programs in the Alameda Creek Watershed near Sunol, CA and Peninsula Watershed near Millbrae, CA.
The Alameda Creek Watershed Center welcomes groups on to explore the center on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. For more information, please visit https://www.sfpuc.gov/learning/come-visit/alameda-creek-watershed-center
The Peninsula Watershed hosts groups on hikes and bike rides. To schedule a group outing, email ridgetrail@sfwater.org.
Hikers, bicyclists, or equestrians can make reservations for guided excursions along the Fifield-Cahill Ridge Trail on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Due environmental restrictions within the watershed’s fragile ecosystem, groups must be accompanied by a volunteer trail leader.
You can view the schedule and sign up for an event by clicking “Home” at the top of this page. On the home page, select the “Fifield-Cahill Ridge Trail.” This will lead you to a list of upcoming programs on Ridge Trail.
